Access Statement

Red Doors Farm is a collection of 500 year old stone and flint cottages surrounded by cobbled and gravel pathways.  Entering Red Doors is via double gates from a country lane into a very uneven original cobbled courtyard which is used as the car park.  The Games Room and Office are accessible from the courtyard. The recycling, rubbish bins and log store are accessed via the country lane.

The Farmhouse

Parking can be adjacent to the front door.  Entering through a low front door into a level flagstone floored low beamed dining hall. The lounge is entered from the hallway to the left via 2 steps and the kitchen is on the right from the hall via 1 small step.  9 steps rising from the kitchen to the landing, turning left 2 more steps to master bedroom and shower room.  From top of stairs turn right along landing to 2 twin bedrooms, 1 double room and 1 bathroom with shower over.  Please note that upstairs floors are originals and uneven. Access to the garden is from the dining hall via 2 steps.

Orchard Cottage

Parking can be adjacent, however, access to cottages is a short distance across cobbles, rising 1 step into a tiled hall. Access to the right to fully equipped bathroom with hand held shower, separate shower/toilet/washbasin and a twin bedroom. From hall level rising 2 shallow steps to small hall with double room to right and further twin to left. 11 stairs rising, right turn and 1 step to open planned lounge/kitchen with french doors onto small wooden balcony. The gently sloping garden is immediately in front of Orchard Cottage, down 1 step.

Byre Cottage

No parking adjacent to this cottage, access via 20/25 metre uneven cobbled path. Access rising over door threshold into tiled hall, with sloping stair void.  Immediately on entering, door to left into lounge.  At the end of the hall is a shower room/toilet and a kitchen to the left. Steep dog legged stairs rising to first floor with 2 twin rooms, double room plus bathroom and hand held shower.  The front door opens onto a level area of the garden.

Cider Barn

Parking can be adjacent to Cider Barn with same level entrance onto a tiled kitchen, door leading into lounge from which french doors open onto a level garden area. 11 stairs rising to landing, turn right into triple bedded room, left to fully fitted bathroom with shower over, or left and straight on into double bedroom with en suite shower room.

Swallows Loft

Unloading can be adjacent to the entrance door. 1 steep step to foyer, 12 wooden stairs to lounge area (low window sill) with 3 steps to mezzanine kitchen. From lounge 6 steps rising to bedroom and bathroom with walk in shower. Further full flight of stairs descending to garden patio area only used as fire escape.

Holly Cottage

Parking is 15 meters across paved pathway to 2 steps rising into a porch.  Entrance into cottage is via a threshold. Immediately inside to the left are 2 small carpeted steps into lounge/kitchen diner and behind the front door to the right is a level bedroom with bathroom en suite. Outside the garden is accessed by 3 descending steps

Swimming Pool/Gardens/Play Areas

These are accessed by either all or part of the uneven cobbled courtyard.  A paved path leads to the pool area with a few steps.  There is a security code for entering the pool but once inside the changing rooms, shower, toilet and pool are all on the level.  The pool accessible by ladder steps.  The Gardens are laid mainly to gently sloping  lawns which are uneven in places.
